Patience Hammond was born on 16 March 1750 at N. Yarmouth, Cumberland Co, Maine. She was the daughter of John Hammond and Patience Webber. Patience Hammond married William Blay West on 27 April 1772. Patience Hammond died on 24 May 1846 at Lisbon, Androscoggin Co, Maine, at age 96.
