James Nelson Stanley married Mary Ann Stanley, daughter of Elisha/Elijah Stanley and Susan Orff, on 26 June 1868 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; St James Church. James Nelson Stanley died on 9 May 1925 at Grand Manan, Charlotte Co, New Brunswick, at age 77; Death record shows birth as 1854; Informant was son Irvin Stanley.³
