     Ernest Bass was born on 30 April 1884 at North Head, Grand Manan, Charlotte Co, New Brunswick.1 He was the son of George Bass and Adelia Hattie Stanley. Ernest Bass married Jennie Beal on 23 September 1912 at Charlotte Co, New Brunswick.2 Ernest Bass died on 12 May 1953 at age 69; Ernest drowned on his way back to Grand Manan from Maine. It was also the third birthday of his granddaughter, Nancy Titus.1,3
