     Warren Stanley was born on 31 May 1834 at Grand Manan, Charlotte Co, New Brunswick. He was the son of John Stanley and Mary Esther Woodbury. Warren Stanley married Mary Ann Daley on 13 October 1855 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; Warren Stanley was of Grand Manan, and Mary A. Daley was of Lancaster Parish. They were married in the Wesleyan Church by James Hennigar.1 Warren Stanley married Margaret Williams on 13 January 1900 at Grand Manan, Charlotte Co, New Brunswick.2,3
     Warren Stanley appeared on the census of 1891 at Guys Ward, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; Warren Stanley, 57, Mary Ann, 53, Frank, 15, and Sarah E., 10, all born NB. Warren worked for the Salvation Army, and the family was Baptist.4
