Samuel Atkins was born on 25 June 1679 at Eastham, Barnstable Co, Massachusetts. He was the son of Henry Atkins and Bethiah Linnell. Samuel Atkins married Emblem Newcomb, daughter of Andrew Newcomb, on 8 April 1703. Samuel Atkins died before 1768 at Chatham, Barnstable Co, Massachusetts.
