     Henry William Young was born on 25 January 1843 at Gould, Compton Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of John Young and Hannah Paulina Gorham Wait. Henry William Young was baptized on 29 January 1843 at Compton Co, Quebec; Sponsors were John Cowan, Enoch and Sarah Wait.1 He married Sarah Jane Wheeler on 13 June 1867 at Stratford, Coos Co, New Hampshire.2 Henry William Young died on 3 July 1898 at probably Anaconda, Montana, at age 55.
     He appeared on the census of 1881 at Lingwick, Compton Co, Quebec; William Young, 38, Jane, 32, Fred, 10, Aligian, 8, Alexander, 6, Gertrude, 4, Eva, 2 and Hannah, 6 mos (born Oct).3
