Hugh Paine was born on 14 April 1716 at Truro, Barnstable Co, Massachusetts. He was the son of Thomas Paine and Thankful Cobb. Hugh Paine married Jerusha Rich on 4 September 1740. Hugh Paine died on 28 November 1748 at age 32.
