Joshua Paine was born on 28 March 1697. He was the son of Thomas Paine and Hannah Shaw. Joshua Paine married Rebecca Sparrow on 20 October 1720. Joshua Paine married Constance Paine on 6 January 1737 at Canterbury, Windham Co, Connecticut. Joshua Paine died on 10 March 1775 at age 77. He was buried at New York; northeast of Amenia.
