Sarah Mead

Sarah Mead was born circa 1612; aged about 20 on her marriage license [Canterbury Marriage Licenses]. She was baptized on 29 November 1612 at Tenterden, Kent, England.1 She married John Lewis, son of George Lewis and Dennis Forman, on 1 March 1632 at Tenterden, Kent, England.1 Sarah Mead and John Lewis obtained a marriage license on 21 February 1632; The license named him as John Lewis of Tenterden, bachelor, butcher, aged about 24 and calls her Sarah Mead, soinster, aged about 20. Her father was deceased. [Canterbury Marriage Licenses 1619-1660].1 Sarah Mead died on 12 July 1657 at Boston, Suffolk Co, Massachusetts.2
