     Ira Mandigo was born on 29 October 1815 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. He was the son of Levi Mandigo and Elizabeth Boomhower. Ira Mandigo was baptized on 31 July 1828 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; St George's Anglican Church. He married Esther Asseltine Nokes, daughter of Stephen Nokes and Jane Longeway, on 18 February 1839 at St Armand, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; St Armand Methodist Church. Ira Mandigo died on 19 June 1890 at age 74.1 He was buried at Fairmount Cemetery, Sutton, Brome Co, Quebec.2
