William Stanley was born circa April 1883 at Grand Manan, Charlotte Co, New Brunswick.1 He was the son of Richard Stanley and Jane Silliphant. William Stanley died on 21 August 1889 at Navy Island, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; He was aged 6 yrs, 4 mos, and his father Richard Stanley was deceased. Permit was signed by his uncle Andrew Stanley.2 He was buried at Mispec, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.1
