     James Stanley Jr. was born on 5 November 1873 at Grand Manan, Charlotte Co, New Brunswick.2 He has also be reported to have been born 11 November 1872.1 He was the son of James Nelson Stanley and Mary Ann Stanley. James Stanley Jr. married Florence Ada Smith on 8 October 1916 at North Head, Grand Manan, Charlotte Co, New Brunswick; James Stanley, 43, of North Head, and Florence Ada Smith, 24, of same. Florence was b. Bristol, England, and James was a fisherman.3 James Stanley Jr. died on 5 March 1920 at Grand Manan, Charlotte Co, New Brunswick, at age 46; Records show he was married and a merchant.1
