     Phoebe Briggs Wait was born on 31 January 1802.1 She was the daughter of Briggs Wait and Mary Sheer/Shier. Phoebe Briggs Wait was baptized on 6 August 1815 at Caldwell's Manor, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 She married Jacob Wheeler, son of Joseph Wheeler and Hannah Brown, on 31 December 1820 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; St George's Anglican Church. Phoebe Briggs Wait died on 22 December 1858 at Noyan Anglican Church, Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 56.3 She was buried on 23 December 1858 at Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3
