George Howard was born on 6 September 1888 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; The birth record does not list a given name, however, the 1901 census indicates George was born on 6 Sept 1889, so the two are one and the same.1 He was the son of Walter Tremaine Howard and Elizabeth Jane Chase.
