Christina Beckwith was born on 5 February 1839 at Somerset, Kings Co, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of Asa Beckwith and Mary Morton. Christina Beckwith married Johnson Elderkin, son of James Elderkin and Elizabeth Kerr, in 1857. Christina Beckwith died on 27 January 1909 at Boston, Suffolk Co, Massachusetts, at age 69.
