Joseph Norman Bond Elderkin married Mary Eureka Scott.1 Joseph Norman Bond Elderkin married Jane Page in 1850; According to a researcher, after Joseph married Jane, there was so much turmoil between his daughters and new wife, he sent them to live in an orphanage.1 Joseph Norman Bond Elderkin died on 10 September 1868 at Port Greville, Cumberland Co, Nova Scotia.
