Robert Kerr was born on 12 June 1834 at Nova Scotia.¹ He was the son of Ebenezer Kerr and Carolyn Lavinia Gesner. Robert Kerr married Elizabeth Green on 30 July 1868 at Amherst, Cumberland Co, Nova Scotia.^1,2 Robert Kerr died on 16 February 1898 at age 63.¹
