     Phoebe Melissa Wait was born on 28 January 1837 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She was the daughter of Enoch Wait and Margaret Patterson. Phoebe Melissa Wait was baptized on 27 July 1843 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 She married Franklin Benjamin Salls, son of John Salls and Eunice Curtis, on 7 February 1853 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; Clarenceville Methodist Church; Phoebe's sister Laura was a witness, along with Henry A. Spoor. Phoebe Melissa Wait married James Owen Bullock, son of Benjamin Bullock and Phoebe Lewis, on 21 April 1904 at Beebe Plain Methodist, Beebe Plain, Stanstead Co, Quebec; Both James and Phoebe had been widowed and resided in Graniteville.3 Phoebe Melissa Wait died on 2 November 1906 at Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 69; Her death was recorded that she was 69 years old. Her gravestaone indicates she died 1 Nov 1906.4 She was buried on 4 November 1906 at Marlington Cemetery, Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec.5,6,4
