Franklin Benjamin Salls

     Franklin Benjamin Salls was born on 23 August 1832 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. He was the son of John Salls and Eunice Curtis. Franklin Benjamin Salls was baptized on 2 September 1854 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; Clarenceville Anglican Church. He married Phoebe Melissa Wait, daughter of Enoch Wait and Margaret Patterson, on 7 February 1853 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; Clarenceville Methodist Church; Phoebe's sister Laura was a witness, along with Henry A. Spoor. Franklin Benjamin Salls died on 12 February 1900 at Graniteville, Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 67; Stanstead Journal, 15 Feb 1900:
Graniteville-Mr. Franklin Salls passed away (in his 68th year) Monday, Feb. 12 - leaves wife and and four children besides one sister, Mrs. Jas. McKee, who lives in Clarenceville, his former home. Funeral yesterday-laid to rest in the Marlowe cemetery.^1,2 He was buried on 14 February 1900 at Marlington Cemetery, Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec.²
