Charles Wesley Blenkhorn was born in 1838 at Nova Scotia. He married Frances Ann Howard, daughter of Alexander Grant Howard and Catherine McGill Kerr, on 28 November 1861 at Batchford River, Parrsboro, Cumberland Co, Nova Scotia; Fanny was the 3rd daughter of the late Alex. G. Howard.1
