     Matilda Jane Wait was born on 15 January 1832 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She was the daughter of Briggs Wait and Jane Longeway. Matilda Jane Wait was baptized on 4 March 1832 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 She married Ephraim Briggs Tryon, son of Daniel Tryon and Mary Ann Longeway, on 31 January 1854 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3 Matilda Jane Wait died on 18 February 1903 at Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 71.4 She was buried on 21 February 1903 at Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec.4
