     James Eaton was the son of Ebenezer Eaton and Eunice Palmeter. James Eaton married Susannah Cox, daughter of Thomas Cox and Elizabeth Williams, in March 1847 at Nova Scotia. James Eaton married Ruth Cox, daughter of Thomas Cox and Elizabeth Williams, on 26 February 1857.1
