Samuel Durgin Welch

M, b. 1796, d. 6 October 1841
     Samuel Durgin Welch was born in 1796.1 He married Elizabeth Wait, daughter of Briggs Wait and Mary Sheer/Shier, on 5 April 1818 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; In 1838 the Welchs resided in Hinchenbrooke, PQ.2 Samuel Durgin Welch died on 6 October 1841; info from Albert Smith, 14 Oct 1988. He was buried at Old Manning Cemetery, Franklin Centre, Huntingdon Co, Quebec.3
     In 1841, Samuel and Elizabeth were residing in Russelltown.
