Eleanor Plantagenet was born on 11 September 1318 at Monmouth, England.1 She was the daughter of Henry Plantagenet and Maud Chaworth. Eleanor Plantagenet married John de Beaumont on 6 November 1330.1 Eleanor Plantagenet married Richard Fitzalan, son of Edmund Fitzalan and Alice de Warren, on 5 February 1344 at Ditton, Buckinghamshire, England; The couple was married in the presence of King Richard III, by Papal dispensation as they were related in the 3rd and 4th degrees of kindred.2 Eleanor Plantagenet died on 11 January 1372 at Arundel, Sussex, England, at age 53. She was buried at Lewes Priory, Lewes, Sussex, England.1
