Margaret Patterson was born on 15 June 1808 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.¹ She was the daughter of Danforth Patterson and Chloe Smith. Margaret Patterson was baptized on 1 June 1821 at Caldwell's Manor, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.² She married Enoch Wait, son of Briggs Wait and Mary Sheer/Shier, circa 1829. Margaret Patterson died on 12 September 1843 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 35.³ She was buried on 14 September 1843 at St George's Anglican Cemetery, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.³
