(?) Peter of Courtenay was born circa September 1126 at Courtenay, Loiret, France. He was the son of King Louis VI of France and Adelaide of Maurienne. (?) Peter of Courtenay married Elizabeth (Isabelle) de Courtenay, daughter of Renaud Seigneur de Courtenay and Hawise de Donjon, before 1153 at France. (?) Peter of Courtenay died in 1183 at Palestine. He was buried on 10 April 1183 at Exeter Cathedral, England.
