Emerline Patterson

     Emerline Patterson was born on 18 November 1816 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.¹ She was the daughter of Danforth Patterson and Chloe Smith. Emerline Patterson was baptized on 11 February 1826 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.² She married John Young Jr., son of Johannes Young and Lydia Ann Covey, on 19 January 1835 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.³ Emerline Patterson died on 26 August 1851 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 34.³ She was buried on 27 August 1851 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.³
     One cemetery transcription listing shows Emeline's death date to read 21 August 1851, but the McClellan transcription agrees with the church record- 26 August 1851.⁴
