     Adelbert Clinton Wait was born on 31 January 1878 at McConnel Hatley, Stanstead Co, Quebec; info from 1891 census at Stanstead, PQ. He was the son of James Erastus Wait and Emma May Jewell. Adelbert Clinton Wait was baptized on 30 May 1925 at Fitch Bay Congregational Church, Fitch Bay, Stanstead Co, Quebec. He married Gertrude Chloe Wheeler. Adelbert Clinton Wait died in 1958.1 He was buried at Ayers Cliff Cemetery, Ayers Cliff, Stanstead Co, Quebec.1
