Jean Agnes Darrah

     Jean Agnes Darrah was born on 27 March 1915 at 31 Dorchester Street, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Albert Darrah and Margaret Theresa Dolan. Jean Agnes Darrah died on 6 May 2002 at Rocmaura Nursing Home, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick, at age 87; "Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Margaret T. (Dolan) Darrah. Jean had been employed as a secretary for St. Joseph's Hospital for several years, as well as Manchester Robertson and Allison in the Sporting Goods Department. She was a faithful member of the Cathedral Parish, a member of the C.W.L., and Propagation of the Faithful for many years. She was a promoter of the Miraculous Metal Association. Jean was predeceased by nine sisters, and three brothers. She is survived by one sister, Sister Audrey Darrah of Saint John, and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, from where the funeral will be held on Thursday morning 11:45 to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception for Mass of Christian Burial at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visiting on Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.² She was buried on 9 May 2002 at St Joseph's Cemetery, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.²
