     Charlotte Haywood Ward was born on 13 September 1885 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.1 She was the daughter of William Alexander Ward and Jessie Campbell. Charlotte Haywood Ward was born on 12 June 1895 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.2 She died on 24 January 1968 at Blue Haven Rest Home, 34 Estes Street, Marlborough, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts, at age 82.3,4 She was buried at Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts.3
     She lived on 26 April 1941 at Beverly, Essex Co, Massachusetts; Lottie was listed as of Beverly, Mass. in her sister Olive's obituary. On her death certificate in 1968, her residence was given as 14 Chapman Street, Beverly.5 Charlotte never married and was known to her family as "Lottie".She was a retired clerk and her social security# was 020-07-6247.
When I was very young, Lottie visited my grandmother Wood often, and the two of them would spend a Saturday making fine chocolate covered candies, which I sampled on a regular basis, and even assisted, when allowed.6
