Carl Walter Smith married Laura Elizabeth Atkinson on 9 July 1919 at Fort Lawrence, Cumberland Co, Nova Scotia.2 Carl Walter Smith died in August 1967 at Amherst, Cumberland Co, Nova Scotia, at age 71.1
