Sophronia Wheeler was born on 13 October 1840. She was the daughter of Jacob Wheeler and Phoebe Briggs Wait. Sophronia Wheeler married James Shedrick, son of Thomas Shedrick Jr. and Nancy Salls, on 11 March 1859 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont.¹ Sophronia Wheeler died on 18 June 1901 at Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 60.² She was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, Magog, Stanstead Co, Quebec.²
