     Reuben Patterson was born on 11 December 1817 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; Reuben's gravestone reads 11 Dec 1816 at Clarenceville.1,2 He was the son of Frederick Patterson and Nancy May. Reuben Patterson was baptized on 11 February 1826 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 He married Elizabeth Phillips, daughter of Samuel Phillips, on 27 December 1842 at Alburg, Grand Isle Co, Vermont.3 Reuben Patterson died on 21 September 1893 at Burke, Franklin Co, New York, at age 75.1 He was buried at Burke Center Cemetery, Burke, Franklin Co, New York.1
