     George Wheeler was born on 19 January 1824.1 He was the son of Jacob Wheeler and Phoebe Briggs Wait. George Wheeler was baptized on 6 January 1842 at Russelltown Anglican Church, Russelltown, Huntingdon Co, Quebec.1 He died on 13 August 1862 at Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 38; Stanstead Methodist Church. He was buried on 16 August 1862.
