James Shedrick was born on 1 November 1838 at Quebec. He was the son of Thomas Shedrick Jr. and Nancy Salls. James Shedrick married Sophronia Wheeler, daughter of Jacob Wheeler and Phoebe Briggs Wait, on 11 March 1859 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont.¹ James Shedrick died on 12 April 1898 at Magog, Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 59.² He was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, Magog, Stanstead Co, Quebec.²
