     Margaret Doubleday Salls was born on 12 April 1811 at Columbia Co, New York.1,2 She was the daughter of Isaac Salls and Esther Skinner.1 Margaret Doubleday Salls was baptized on 28 June 1813 at Canaan Congregational Church, Canaan, Columbia Co, New York.3 She died on 5 January 1899 at Concord, Erie Co, New York, at age 87; Her death record indicated she was 87 yrs 8 mos 23 days old when she died.2
     Margaret was reported to have been living in Durand, Wisconsin in 1875.4 She appeared on the census of 1880 at Eau Claire, Eau Claire Co, Wisconsin; M. D. Salls was living with H.E. Randall as his housekeeper. He was 29 and divorced.5
