     Jacob Brust was born circa 1759. He was the son of Johannes Jacob Brust and Anna Katherina Wolff. Jacob Brust was baptized on 4 February 1759 at Rhinebeck Flats Reformed, Rhinebeck Flats, Dutchess Co, New York. He married Eva Coonradt (Conrad) circa 1786 at Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York. Jacob Brust died on 28 January 1832 at Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York; ae 72y-3m-26d. He was buried on 30 January 1832 at Gilead Lutheran Church, Centre Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York.
     Jacob's will was dated 17 Jan 1832. The principals named included his wife Eve, and sons Adam and Jacob, along with his "trusty friend", Conrad Ham.
