     John Borden was born in February 1606/7 at Headcorn, Kent, England.1,2 He was the son of Matthew Borden and Joan (?). John Borden was baptized on 22 February 1606/7 at Headcorn, Kent, England.2 He married Joanna (?) before 1627 at England.1 John Borden died prob late 1635.1
     John Borden emigrated to New England in the "Elizabeth & Ann" in May 1635, being then recorded as as aged 28 years, with his wife Joan, aged 23, son Matthew, 8 and daughter Elizabeth, then 3 years old.2,1
