These items were copied from a book in Atkinson Town Hall which also held information about a number of families. The map shows the area of Rankinville, which was the original settlement prior to the incorporation of the Town of Atkinson.

Site of the Colvin Creek Baptist Church
(John Bizzell Woodcock and his wife Elizabeth Ann Henry built a church with the stipulation that if the church should cease to exist, the land would revert back to them. The deed was drawn for the church lot, one acre, 1 Aug 1879. The lot was sold to James W. Marley, 10 Jun 1905 by Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Woodcock.)
