and incumbent of Trinity Church, Leeds.
At Falmouth, on the 12th instant, Mrs. HOCKING, mother of Mr. Hocking,
builder, aged 95 years.

age, Mrs. ANNE JENKING. She passed through her long life beloved and
respected by all who knew her, but by none could she be more highly valued
than by the family with whom she lived the last thirty years.

At St. Just in Penwith, on Friday last, after a short illness, Mr. JOHN
DAVEY, aged 75 years, deeply lamented by all who had the pleasure of his
acquaintance. Mr. Davey was the first schoolmaster introduced into the
parish of St. Just, and filled the office of vestry clerk in the most
satisfactory manner for 40 years successively. As a scholar and
mathematician, he attracted more than ordinary notice; and for several years
he received the most marked attention from the late DAVIES GILBERT, Esq.,
who made him some valuable presents.
