At Truro, on Tuesday last, after a few hours' illness from the rupture of a blodd vessel, and generally esteemed and respected by a large circle of acquaintance, Mr. James BARRETT, mercer and tailor, aged 57 years.

At Truro, on Friday last, Mr. Joseph CATCHPOLE, for many years of the George and Dragon Inn, aged 82 years.

At Lamb Farm, in the parish of Kea, on Friday last, Mr. James VARCOE, aged 24 years.

At Penryn, on Monday last, Mr. Thomas GREY TRENERY, mayor of Penryn, aged 55 years. He was distinguished by rectitude of character and a truthful heart, and his friendship, which was sincere and unassuming, commanded the spontaneous esteem of both rich and poor. His loss will be felt and universally regretted, and his memory be long cherished by all who knew him. This is the third year he has filled the office of chief magistrate since the passing of the Municipal Reform Act.
