On board H. M. S. " Blenheim," whilst on his passage from Hong Kong, China, to England, on the 3rd of August last, second corporal Charles HOLMAN, of the 6th Company of Royal Sappers and Miners, and third son of Mr. Holman, warder county prison, Bodmin, aged 23 years.

At Melbourne, in June last, Mr. John Samuel DUNCAN, son of the late Lieutenant Duncan, R.N., of North Britain.

At Gateshead, on the 7th instant, killed on duty by a terrific explosion, whilst engaged with a party of his regiment in endeavouring to arrest the progress of a calamitous fire, Camborne Hastings PAYNTER, Ensign in the Cameronians, and second son of Thos. Paynter, Esq., of Boskenna, in this county, aged 18 years.

At Malta, on the 5th instant, of fever contracted at Varna, Lieut. James MOLESWORTH, of the 7th Royal Fusiliers, youngest son of the late Rev. William Molesworth, Rector of St. Breock, aged 22 years.

Off the Cape of Good Hope, on board the brig "Alice Brown," from Penzance to Melbourne, Mr. Charles DREW, mate, son of Mr. S. Drew, postmaster, Helston.

At Salisbury, on the 26th ult., Mr. Benjamin SPRATT, late of Penzance, aged 51 years.
