The transcription of Webb Chapel Cemetery completed by Jan Jones was published in May, 2002 in Elm Fork Echoes, Volume 30 by Peters Colony Historical Society.

An updated version of that transcription of the cemetery has now been posted to this website. The transcription contains name and factual information from the grave markers, full names including women's maiden names when known, and information to help you locate the grave marker within the cemetery.

We have completed photographing every marker in the cemetery. As a long term project, we may link each person's name in the transcription to a photo of the marker.

People not affiliated with Webb Chapel Cemetery Association have placed photographs & transcriptions online of the markers in Webb Chapel Cemetery.

Allen Wheatley has photographed cemeteries all over Texas. His photographs of Webb Chapel Cemetery can be viewed at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~t42cemeteries/Texas/Dallas/WebbChapel/

One of the transcriptions is a part of the "Cemeteries of Dallas County Texas" project. The inscriptions done by Richard R. Wilcox and a few general cemetery photographs done by Gary Webb are located at: http://www.cemeteries-of-tx.com/Etx/Dallas/cemetery/webbchapel.htm

Another listing of the cemetery can be found on the "Find A Grave" website. These records have been submitted by various people. There are even a few photographs of people who are buried at Webb Chapel Cemetery. The full Webb Chapel listing may be accessed at: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gsr&GScid=1228880

After visiting these other sites, please remember to return to this website. In addition to viewing our cemetery transcription, you may enjoy viewing our online descendant database which contains information about the descendants of persons buried at Webb Chapel Cemetery. If you are a family member, please feel free to contact Jan Jones at the email address below. Our offline database contains a wealth of information (including sources) which is not shown in our online database. We strive to keep our database as accurate as possible and welcome new information and corrections.

We hope you check back here often to learn more about your Webb Chapel family.
