HOWARD COX DIES AT SON'S HOME.
Funeral Service Will Be Held Today,
Followed by Burial in Webb Cemetery.
Howard Cox, 78 years old, a retired farmer, died yesterday at the home of his
son, M. W. Cox, eleven miles north of Dallas. Funeral service, conducted by the
Rev. O. F. Sensabaugh, will be held at the residence at 3 o'clock this
afternoon. The burial will be in the Webb Cemetery. Mr. Cox was one of the early
settlers in the county, and for many years he was a prominent farmer and stock
raiser. The following children survive him: M. W., T. J., J. J. and J. H. Cox,
Mrs. T. D. Elliott, Mrs. A. H. Daniels, Mrs. J. T. Lively, Miss Fannie Cox and
Miss Elizabeth Cox.

Howard Cox Dead
Howard Cox, 78 years old and pioneer citizen of Dallas county, died last
Saturday at the Cox home some fourteen miles north of Dallas and was buried
Sunday afternoon in Webb Cemetery. He is survived by several sons and daughters.
The pallbearers were S. M. Dennis, Jim Dennis, F. F. Taylor, W. I. Ford, H.
Taliaferro and D. A. Russell.
