Daniel Shamburg II was born July 10, 1853 in Knoxville, Frederick County, Maryland. He died on Dec 28, 1920 in Scottsville, Mitchell, Kansas. He served as the second mayor of Scottsville in the early 1900's. Daniel married Eliza Jane Mace on Oct 2, 1873 in Lucas City, Iowa. Daniel's parents were Daniel Shamburg, b. 1810 in Germany and Regenie Dorothy Byrmann. Eliza Jane was the daughter of Abrain Mace and Jane Trousler.
