The photo was taken by the G. Wear (I think that's what it says) studio in
Sherman, TX, probably about 1905. My grandmother, Kittie, is on the left, her
sister Carrie Lee on the right. Annie Lou Weems was the daughter of James
Madison Weems (1841-1916, born Holmes Co, MS -- died Grayson Co, TX) His father
was James Madison Weems (1809-1873, born SC, died MS). She married Thomas Walter
Lanham about 1893.
