Plat Books

Plat books provide a map of each of the Townships in the County, along with property borders and owners for each of the land tracts. Only rural lands are detailed, not city properties. A wonderful tool for tracing your ancestor's movements over time. The 1892 version also helps to determine County residency in lieu of the 1890 Census returns (which are not available for DeKalb County).

Bar Docket - DeKalb County Circuit Court for February Term of 1939
