Entry No. 1833 on Page 236 of the "Baptisms - Burials 1796-1812" record book of the Penistone church, documents the baptism of Ann Wainwright, daughter of Charles Wainwright and Alice [Rebecca] Smith of Mill House, on December 25, 1825 The birth date is not documented. Her father's occupation is reported as "Carpenter".

Note that the mother's first name is recorded as "Alice".
This appears to only be an error since the father's full name, place of living and occupation all match, along with the mother's last name and no conflicting time periods between previous and subsequent children. We also have a listing for Ann, born that year as daughter of Charles Wainwright and Rebecca Smith, in separate research, done by William J. Wainwright in 1965 on a visit to relatives then living near there.
