Denby Dale is a town about 4 miles northeast of Penistone.
It had a chapel that was administered by the Penistone Church.
Upper Denby is a hamlet a short distance south of Denby Dale.
Lower Denby is a hamlet a short distance west and a little south of Denby Dale.
