Baptism of Jeremiah:

The last entry on Page 91 of the "Baptisms-Marriages-Burials 1733-1795" record book of the Penistone church, documents the baptism of Jerh. Wainwright, son of Jerh. Wainwright of "Bank H", ( Bankhouse), on November 16, 1754.

Marriage:

Entry No. 345 on Page 143 of the "Marriages 1754-1785" record book of the Penistone church, documents the marriage of Jeremiah Wainwright and Ann Wood at Penistone on May 31, 1779..

Note that the transcriber spelled Jeremiah's name as "Jeramy".
Baptism of son George:

The 11th entry on Page 204 of the "Baptisms-Marriages-Burials 1733-1795" record book of the Penistone church, documents the baptism of George, son of Jerh. Wainwright of Carlecotes, at Penistone on July 1, 1779.

Baptism of son John:

The 12th entry on Page 240 in the "Baptisms-Marriage-Burials 1733-1795" record book of the Penistone church, documents the baptism of John, son of Jeremiah Wainwright of "Saville H" [ Saville House], at Penistone on July 24, 1785.


Early Death of son John:

The 8th entry on Page 266 of the "Baptisms-Marriages-Burials 1733-1795" record book of the Penistone church, documents the burial of John, son of Jeremiah Wainwright, of "Saville H" [ Saville House], on March 9, 1789, (at Age 3).

Baptism of first daughter Ann:

The 11th entry on Page 257 in the "Baptisms-Marriages-Burials 1733-1795" record book of the Penistone church, documents the baptism of Ann, daughter of Jereh [Jeremiah] Wainwright, of Saville House, on September 23, 1788. The birth date is not documented.

Note that we have a subsequent child named Ann, born in 1798. This seems to because of the early death of this Ann, (see burial record below).
Early Death of First daughter Ann:

The 14th entry on Page 266 of the "Baptisms-Marriages-Burials 1733-1795" record book of the Penistone church, documents the burial of Anna [Ann] Wainwright, daughter of Jeremiah Wainwright. of "Saville H" [ Saville House], on March 20, 1789, (at Age 5 months).

Baptism of daughter Elizabeth:

The 11th entry on Page 285 in the "Baptisms-Marriages-Burials 1733-1795" record book of the Penistone church, documents the baptism of Elizabeth, daughter of Jerh. Wainwright of Carlecotes Bents , in August, 1792. There is no specific date recorded, but, based on subsequent baptisms, it had to be on or before August 22nd.

Note that the residence of Jeremiah Wainwright is recorded as Carlecotes Bents, and the baptismal record for her older brothers, George and John, records it as Saville House. Bents Road passes in front of Saville House. Locally,Bents Road is called Carlecotes Bents because there are several Bents Roads in the area. 13
Baptism of son William:

The 17th entry on Page 304 in the "Baptisms-Marriage-Burials 1733-1795" record book of the Penistone church, documents the baptism of William, son of Jeremiah Wainwright at Penistone on July 19, 1795.
The birth date is documented as June 12, 1795.

Early death of son William:

The 2nd entry on Page 304 of the "Baptisms-Burials 1796-1812" record book of the Penistone church, documents the burial of William, Aged 1, son of Jeremiah Wainwright and Ann Wood, his wife, of Upper Midhope, on November 25, 1796.

Baptism of second daughter Ann:

The 7th entry on Page 26 of the "Baptisms-Burials 1796-1812" record book of the Penistone church, documents the baptism of Ann, daughter of Jeremiah Wainwright and Ann Wood, his wife, on May 13, 1798. The birth date is documented as April 17,1798.

Baptism of son Charles

The 9th entry on Page 57 of the "Baptisms - Burials 1796-1812" record book of the Penistone church, documents the baptism of Charles, son of "Jeremiah Wainwright and Ann, his wife, formerly Wood,", on October 6, 1800. The resister adds "born 5 Instant", which the IGI records as October 5, 1800.

Burial of Jeremiah Wainwright:

Entry No. 784 on Page 98 of the "Burials 1813-1840" record book of the Penistone church, documents the burial of Jeremiah Wainwright of Bulhouse on May 22, 1823 at age 68.

Note that this is the only reference we have seen, so far, to a Wainwright at "Bulhouse". It might be a transcription error in the record book.
Burial of Ann Wood:

Entry No. 2177 on Page 273 of the "Burials 1813-1840" record book of the Penistone church, documents the burial of Ann (Wood) Wainwright of Swinden on May 12, 1838 at age 80.
